Video system
The third surface the brand renders on. Video consumes the Brand and Marketing systems rather than redefining them: the same navy ground, the same yellow call, the same locked cast. What lives here is what only motion needs — footage rules, cover art selection, the workflow that separates an explainer from a character story, and the Remotion components every frame is drawn with.
video/contract.json, which mirrors the brand tokens. If a value here disagrees with Brand, Brand wins and the contract is wrong. How this is organized
Capture rules, cover art, and the compositions that draw a frame are what a video needs that a page does not. The cast is shared with Marketing, because a character who appears in a campaign still and a video cover must be the same person.
| Section | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Workflow taxonomy | Crash Cam and Character Story, and the production rule that separates them |
| B-roll & footage | Dashcam briefs, plate and disclaimer rules, the footage catalog |
| Thumbnails | Four slots per character, the keywords that select one, blog scenario coverage |
| Video lab | TimDS’s web app for drafting, editing, planning, rendering, and reviewing videos through Wallace-owned components and the producer contract |
| Text layouts | The seven text placements a scene can take over footage, the caption lane and watermark, and the cards |
| Character Directory | The recurring cast — shared with Marketing, not a second copy |
Delivery formats
Every production renders one long-form horizontal cut, one vertical short, and one cover still. The frame rate is fixed at 30fps across all three.
| Format | Dimensions | Ratio |
|---|---|---|
| longform | 1920 × 1080 | 16:9 |
| cover | 3840 × 2160 | 16:9 |
| short | 1080 × 1920 | 9:16 |
contract.json word budgets — a cover headline has no practical length cap and is auto-fitted to the frame, and each caption page holds 5 words. Thumbnail stills therefore carry no text at all.Publishing
