Every character carries four thumbnail slots: two states, each composed separately for desktop and mobile. A production resolves exactly one slot by scoring the script twice — once against the cast to pick a person, once against the scenario clusters to pick a state.
contract.json word budgets. A still with baked-in type cannot be reused across topics and cannot be re-cut for a short, so text in the plate is a rejection. The four slots
Mobile is composed, never centre-cropped from the desktop master — the same rule the campaign before/after pairs already follow. Every character carries the same two states, children included: the blog covers minor-injury topics, and those posts need a child on the cover.
| Surface | Ratio | Adult states | Minor states |
|---|---|---|---|
| Desktop | 16:9 | before, after | before, after |
| Mobile | 9:16 | before, after | before, after |
How a topic resolves
Two independent scores, in this order. Either one failing to match stops the resolution rather than guessing — a cover with the wrong person is worse than a cover a producer has to choose.
- Who — the script is tokenised and scored against each character's keywords (vehicle, body part, city, collision type for the adults; scooter, booster seat, crosswalk and minor settlement for Billy and Sally). Every character is in the pool; a child's vocabulary and an adult's barely overlap, so the score separates them without a flag.
- Which state — the title is scored against the scenario clusters below. Longer keyword phrases outrank single words, so “settlement release” beats a bare “settlement”.
- Which asset — the character's slot matching that state and the render surface.
attorney-process, which is a before state. The claim is still open, so a restored-vehicle sunrise frame would overstate where the reader actually is.Scenario clusters
17 clusters derived from wallacepierce.com/firm-blog, sampled across its 629 pages. The blog is a claims-process Q&A, so the vocabulary is weighted toward releases, records, liens, and offers rather than collision mechanics.

Published plates
Every slot that has art, at the composition a cover actually uses. Before puts the subject frame right and leaves the left half clear; after mirrors it. Mobile keeps the subject in the upper two thirds because the vertical cover fades to navy and draws the question underneath.
